Established in 2014, The Underground Cannabis is a Canadian company, previously operating under Health Cannabis, that transitioned into the legal recreational cannabis market in early 2018.

We consider it a privilege to serve our clients, so providing high quality cannabis products & accessories and ensuring our stores are managed and staffed with exceptionally trained individuals. We're dedicated to building and maintaining client trust and good standing with the members of the communities in which we operate in.

As the industry continues to evolve and establish itself to greater degrees, we understand it can be intimidating to visit a retail store, especially for first-time consumers.

David Ferkul

President & CEO, The Underground

David has 10+ years of industry experience working under the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations (MMAR), the Marihuana for Medical Purposes Regulations (MMPR), the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) and the Cannabis Act.

He has participated in many industry events, radio shows and podcasts sharing his breadth of knowledge, business acumen and unique perspectives.

His passion for the industry is driven by his personal experiences and a responsibility to advance the interests of the legitimate cannabis industry in Ontario and across Canada.

David's product of choice is dried flower.

Andrew Curran

Vice-President, The Underground

Andrew has a vast understanding of product and industry knowledge, having worked in the grey market for 10+ years including working under the Access to Cannabis for Medical Purposes Regulations (ACMPR) as a personal grower.

His passion for horticulture, particularly with the marijuana plant, drives his ambition as the head of research and development.
